NADCAA Members Policy Confirmation Document

Dear Member,

As has been mentioned at AGM’s in recent years, NADCAA has changed from being a small club of likeminded people who just wanted to garden, to a small business. Not because we wanted it to but because of changes to legislation that all small orgaisations have had to adapt to.

With these changes come responsibilites, and as a member run organisation, it is in all our best interests to ensure that we do everything to comply with these changes. From time to time we have to check with our legal advisors, to ensure that our policies cover all the various changes to legislation and that are operating properly whilst protecting NADCAA at the same time.

We are advised that one of the biggest problems that organisation face, is that members don’t read the policies before they sign their Tenancy Agreement, even though they sign to dsay that they have done so.

As a result, at a recent meeting, it was suggested that we send a simple questionnaire asking all members to verify that they have read the various policies that apply to all of us. We will upload these documents to members individual files on the NADCAA Management System.
